Soft Octopus Skirt Fishing Bait Multi Green 10 Inch

Green penetrates well in slightly stained water — exactly the situation where blue stops working and the bright colours have not started earning yet. This is the colour-change skirt.

When to run multi green

• Water: Blue-green edge water, colour changes, after weather
• Light: Any
• Species: Tuna working a break; mahi mahi on the green side of a line

Run it the moment the water goes from blue to blue-green. It is the colour that covers the transition.

Why the 10" length

The middle of the three stocked lengths, and the one to start with if you are only buying one size. Yellowfin, mahi mahi, and general-purpose mixed spreads.

One skirt is not a spread

The most common colour mistake is not picking the wrong one — it is picking one and running five of it. A spread is a test: every position is a question you are asking the ocean. Run at least one dark and one bright, and when something gets eaten twice, switch a second lure to match it. Our trolling lure colour guide works through water clarity, light and species in full.

To cover the range in one go, the same skirt comes as a 3-piece set across all colours and lengths. To match it to a head, start with tuna trolling lures, or browse the resin heads and stainless heads.
