Soft Octopus Skirt Fishing Bait Solid Yellow 12 Inch

Yellow sits in the middle of the spectrum. It holds its colour deeper than red or orange, but nowhere near as far as blue or green. That makes it an edge-water and colour-change skirt rather than a deep blue-water one.

When to run solid yellow

• Water: Blue-green, edge water, colour changes
• Light: Full sun through overcast
• Species: Mahi mahi first, then tuna working a temperature break

Pairs naturally with green and chartreuse positions when you are fishing a weed line or a colour change.

Why the 12" length

The big-profile length. Marlin, larger yellowfin and bluefin, big chuggers and plungers, and long-rigger positions where the lure has to be visible from a distance. Also the length to reach for when you are dressing a teaser rather than a hook bait.
