Pink is the one colour mahi mahi seem to genuinely prefer, and it is the first thing most crews reach for when the fish are up and eating. It also starts producing on tuna the moment they stop being selective.

When to run solid pink

• Water: Green or stained water; clear water when fish are aggressive
• Light: Any — best where contrast matters more than realism
• Species: Mahi mahi, aggressive tuna

Keep one in the spread as your bright position, worked near weed lines and floating structure.

Why the 9" length

The small profile. Mahi mahi, school tuna, and short-corner positions where a bigger bait gets looked at and refused. It is also the standard length for dressing daisy chains, dredge droppers and small chuggers.
