Blue travels furthest through water — it is why deep water looks blue in the first place. A multi blue skirt is the closest thing in this range to a natural offshore baitfish: it does not announce itself, it just looks like it belongs.

When to run multi blue

• Water: Clear blue offshore
• Light: Bright sun through mid-light
• Species: Tuna, and the natural entry in any mixed spread

This is the match-the-bait position. Pair it with silver or pearl and let a dark skirt cover the other end.

Why the 9" length

The small profile. Mahi mahi, school tuna, and short-corner positions where a bigger bait gets looked at and refused. It is also the standard length for dressing daisy chains, dredge droppers and small chuggers.
